his road rally was one of the coolest car races in north america

holmes defeats boone county 32-29 for their third straight 9th region championship
the low scoring, defensive game was close the entire 32 minutes of action and
boone county had a chance to take the lead with about 15 seconds left but missed
a layup opportunity down 30-29 holmes made a couple of free throws and boone
county couldn't convert a couple of 3-point attempts in the final seconds of the game
boone county finishes the season with a record of 26-5
holmes will now play the region 2 winner, christian county (21-6), march 19 at 1:30pm
